I’m Bernardo Cruz.

I’m 29, from the Lisbon area in Portugal. I’ve been coding since around 2014 and have about five years of corporate experience in software development and DevOps.

Outside work, I enjoy gaming and will probably share the occasional game review here. I also like tinkering with Linux and open-source tools, experimenting with self-hosting and local AI models, and thinking about how technology is changing the way we work and live.

I tend to fall down rabbit holes. Something catches my attention, I keep digging, and eventually I want to tell someone everything I’ve found out or share an opinion I can’t stop thinking about.

That’s why I started this blog. Instead of sending someone a wall of messages, I can put those thoughts here for anyone who feels like reading them. Whatever is on my mind, if I feel the need to talk about it, this is where it goes.
